Mattress Care
This exclusive Simmons product is built with a new single-sided design. This bed does not have to be flipped to maintain warranty protection. Your new Better Sleep single-sided design mattress will have a different type of finish on the bottom than the top.

THE FOLLOWING CARE INSTRUCTIONS CAN HELP PRESERVE WARRANTY RIGHTS:

DO:
• Do use a Simmons foundation or a supportive, rigid, non-yielding foundation. An old foundation unit may not provide sufficient support. It may appear that your mattress is sagging when the problem may be due to a non-supportive foundation.
• For queen, split queen, Olympic® queen, king and California king size sets, use a bed frame that supports head, foot and sides as well as a rigid center support (as noted above). For any queen or king frame that does not have a metal center support, you must use at least 5 hardwood (i.e., oak or ash) slats (1 x 4’s). By not providing a sufficient supportive frame, damage can occur to the product and your warranty will be invalid.*
• Do use a quilted protector pad on your mattress at all times to avoid stains (including MoistureBan™ products).
• Do carton your mattress and carry it on its side when moving.
DO NOT:
• Do not remove the white law label or the model name label. These labels serve as a means of identification to establish your warranty rights.
• Do not bend or fold, stand or jump on product as damage can occur.
• Do not use cleaning fluids on your mattress; it may damage some of the materials.
• Do not smoke in bed or place product near open flame. This mattress is manufactured, as required by law, to resist ignition from lighted cigarettes but not open flame.**

Limited Guarantee

HOW CAN I GET SERVICE ON MY WARRANTY?
Contact your original Simmons dealer. If your original Simmons dealer is no longer in business or you have moved outside the service area, please contact the Simmons Consumer Service Facility. Copy of original bill of sale is needed to determine original date of purchase. Model name label and law label must be attached to identify the bedding and validate this warranty.

WHAT IS COVERED?
If you purchased a Simmons mattress and use it with a proper foundation (see (i) and (ii) on following page), this warranty covers manufacturing defects in your Simmons mattress or foundation*. Replacement of one piece does not automatically result in the replacement of the other piece. This limited warranty is provided only to the original purchaser.

HOW LONG IS THE COVERAGE PERIOD?
The warranty coverage runs from the original date of purchase. Repair or replacement of the mattress or foundation does not extend its limited warranty or begin a new limited warranty period. Your warranty period is based on the code indicated on your white law label.

WHAT WILL SIMMONS DO?
If your Simmons mattress or foundation fails due to a manufacturing defect, the exclusive remedy under this warranty will be repair or replacement of the defective product in the U.S., Puerto Rico or U.S. Virgin Islands.
Simmons reserves the right to substitute comparable materials or models and does not guarantee that the replacement will match the existing piece.

WHAT IS EXCLUDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY?

This warranty does not apply to:
• Firmness preference of the product
• Normal body impression(s) of 1 1/2" or less**
• Bed height
• Cover (fabric)
• Bent border/grid wires
• Burns, stains or soil
• Mattresses not used with a proper foundation (see (i) and (ii) on following page)
• Merchandise sold “as-is”, “distressed” or “floor model”
• Adjustable foundations (see the owner’s manual for details)
• For HealthSmart™ models, damage due to improper washing (including snags and discoloration)
• For HealthSmart™ models, shrinkage, so long as top can still be zipped on
• Claims made outside the 50 United States, Puerto Rico or U.S. Virgin Islands
• Transportation, inspection, or removal costs of product
• Simmons product that has a manufacturing defect and is stained or soiled. For health and safety reasons, Simmons may not be able to inspect these products to assess whether covered by the warranty, in which case, Simmons reserves the right to deny warranty coverage.

The duration of any applicable implied warranties, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness, shall not exceed the term of this limited warranty***. Simmons shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages that result from the use of your Simmons product****. No expressed or implied warranties are extended to persons who
purchase the product from anyone other than Simmons BEDDING Company or its authorized dealers, and all warranties to such persons, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness, are hereby excluded.

(i) Simmons foundation or a supportive, rigid non-yielding foundation. Queen,
Olympic® queen, and king size must have sufficient center support.
(ii) The appropriate Simmons’ adjustable foundation.

DEBE:
• Use una base Simmons o una base con soporte, rígida, no flexible. Una base vieja posiblemente no proporcione el soporte suficiente. El colchón puede dar la impresión de que ha cedido cuando, en realidad, el problema se debe a una base que carece de sostén.
• Para los juegos queen, queen dividido, queen Olympic®, king y California king, use un marco que sostenga la cabeza, pies y costados y que además tenga un sostén rígido en el centro (como se indica arriba). Use por lo menos 5 tablas de madera dura (por ejemplo, roble o fresno) de 1 x 4 pulgadas con cualquier marco queen o king que carezca de un sostén de metal en el centro. El producto se puede dañar y la garantía perderá validez si el marco para el colchón no proporciona suficiente soporte.*
• Use siempre un cobertor acolchado protector sobre el colchón para evitar manchas (incluso productos MoistureBan™).

de una caja de cartón y apóyelo de costado para acarrearlo.

NO DEBE:

• NO doble ni pliegue el producto, no se pare o salte sobre él, ya que puede dañarlo.

Si su representante original de Simmons ha cerrado su negocio o si usted se ha mudado afuera de su área de servicio, sírvase ponerse en contacto con Servicios al consumidor de Simmons. Se necesita una copia de la factura original de venta para determinar la fecha original de compra. Deberá presentar también las etiquetas con el nombre del modelo y la que exige la ley para identificar el producto y validar esta garantía.
¿qué cubre?
Si usted ha adquirido un colchón Simmons y lo usa con la base apropiada (vea (i) e (ii) en la página siguiente), esta garantía cubre los defectos de fabricación del colchón o de la base Simmons*. La sustitución de una de las piezas no significa la sustitución automática de la otra. Esta garantía limitada se extiende únicamente al
primer comprador.
¿qué duración tiene el período de cobertura?
La cobertura de la garantía comienza a partir de la fecha de la primera compra. La reparación o sustitución del colchón o de la base no extiende el período de la garantía limitada ni tampoco significa el inicio de un nuevo período de garantía limitada. El período de garantía limitada se basa en el código indicado en la etiqueta blanca adherida al producto que exige la ley. (Ver tabla más adelante.)
¿QUÉ HARÁ SIMMONS?
En caso de que su colchón o base Simmons presente fallas debido a un defecto de fabricación, el recurso exclusivo será la reparación o reposición del producto, tal como se estipula en esta garantía, en los EE.UU., Puerto Rico o Islas Vírgenes de EE.UU.
Simmons se reserva el derecho a sustituir el colchón con materiales o
modelos de calidad comparable, pero no garantiza que dicha sustitución sea equiparable a la pieza existente.

¿qué excluye esta garantía?

Esta garantía no incluye:
• Preferencia de firmeza del producto
• Impresión o impresiones normales de un 1.5 pulgadas que deja el cuerpo sobre el colchón**
• Altura de la cama
• Revestimiento (tela)
• Alambres de los bordes o de las rejillas doblados
• Quemaduras, manchas y suciedad
• Colchones que no se han usado con la base apropiada (vea (i) e (ii) en la página siguiente)
• Mercadería que se ha vendido "en el estado en que se encuentra", "con valor de liquidación" o "modelo de sala de exposición"
• Bases graduables (detalles en el manual del usuario)
• Para los modelos HealthSmart™, el daño producido por el lavado inadecuado (incluso enganches y decoloración)
• Para los modelos HealthSmart™, el encogido, si la cobertura todavía se pueda cerrar con el cierre
• Reclamaciones efectuadas fuera de los Estados Unidos, Puerto Rico o las Islas Vírgenes de EE.UU.
• Costos de transporte, inspección o retiro del producto.

La vigencia de toda garantía implícita correspondiente, incluso, entre otras, las garantías implícitas de comercialización y aptitud, no se extenderá más allá del término de esta garantía limitada***. Simmons no se hará responsable de los daños incidentales o indirectos que resulten del uso del producto Simmons****. No se extiende garantía alguna, expresa o implícita, a aquellas personas que hayan adquirido el producto de otra compañía o distribuidor que no sea Simmons BEDDING Company o sus distribuidores autorizados, y todas las garantías extendidas a dichas personas, incluso las garantías implícitas de comercialización o aptitud, por la presente quedan excluidas.
